About the Project

After buying this 'modest' post war home (built approx. 1957) in the mid 90's, the client lived contently for 10 years before the decision to re-model was made. During that time the family welcomed the arrival of two children, prompting the need for a re-evaluation of their living space.

The final plans included a totally re-modelled back half of the existing structure, with an addition to extend the family living area to a deck and the new in- ground pool - all on the one ground level. With the kids, the pool was always very high on the wish list from day one - in fact a mandatory.

Once all plans were approved and quotes signed off, the family moved out completely for approximately 5 months. "During the building time, the communication and attitude of the Paradise Homes on-site Re Model team was faultless.

Our scheduled and casual visits during the re-modelling process were always handled in a thoroughly professional and courteous manner. I was always kept in the picture with regards the different stages of construction. The quality of the workmanship, the communication throughout the process and the adherence to the timeframe and budget was first class." the client said. "For us the big plus, outside of the finished product, was that the Paradise Homes Re Model team handled everything from design concepts to handover. That gave us complete peace of mind."
